A few months ago, we asked our customers to submit any sites they were proud of using our themes. We wanted to see what sites you’ve been creating, what you had to say about the theme you’d chosen and in return we’d give away 3 iPad Minis to our favourite sites.
The response was overwhelming. We received over 500 entries from more than 200 applicants – it was really amazing for our team to see how well our themes were being used and the innovative things our customers had done with them.
Out of all the responses, Canvas was the most used–being submitted for 36% off all entries. Superstore and the The One Pager themes, were the next most popular coming in at 6% and 3% respectively.
We whittled the list down to 18 of our favourite sites, and from there had the team vote on their favourite sites.
Without further ado, our winners, in no particular order:
Blue Dozen Design
Because Woo kicks ass–and canvas is robust, terrific and simple. Plus, it gets out of the way and really lets me design. Very nice.
James, owner of Blue Dozen Design.
Upstart is a clean and modern flat-design theme that was easy to shape into what I needed. Being a startup, things need to be done with minimal fuss so having a clean design with straightforward colours means I can create an identity that suits what we do quickly, without fancy textures or unsuitable design elements to think about.
Li Wei, owner of Superdog Kitchen.
I chose Canvas because it enabled me freedom to optimize.
Jerry Kite, developer of Hotel Kračun.
Congratulations to our winners, we hope you’re enjoying reading this post from your new iPad Mini!
