Would like credit card fields to have much lighter placeholder text and/or darker actual text when they are filled in. Reason: Many customers think that the ZIP Code field is already filled in with 90210 because the placeholder text is almost as dark as the filled in text. This then results in failed order and customer has to retry.

This is currently planned and awaiting further testing: https://github.com/Automattic/woocommerce-payments/issues/3604
Styling the fields will require PHP filters. Once this functionality is live, we will have some documentation to guide folks on how to customize the fields.
