AutomateWoo has inbuilt support (excluding multiple currencies) for the WPML plugin. Note you will need the WooCommerce Multilingual as well as WPML, together with the String Translation and the Translation Management modules, which are part of the Multilingual CMS package.
No configuration is necessary to use AutomateWoo with WPML, but you will need to create workflows for each language you are using. E.g an English user or guest will only be valid for English workflows.
If you would like to copy all the options from your default language to a different language the “Add to translation to X” button (where X is the desired language) DOES NOT copy AutomateWoo data. Instead, use the ‘Duplicate’ button visible when editing your default language workflow. Then when viewing the duplicate language workflow click ‘Translate independently’ to manually set your new translation content.
By default when a user selects a language this choice is not persistent, meaning there is no record of which language a user or guest is interacting with in your store. This isn’t a problem until, for example, we want to send a multilingual abandoned cart email. In such situations, it becomes more important to know the customer’s preferred language.
To track this AutomateWoo records which language each customer has last used in your store. For example, when a customer loads any page the language of that page becomes their persistent language. It is good to keep this in mind because as an admin you are often switching back and forth between languages and your persistent language will also be changing.
